「我❤金鑛閃閃!-張哲榕影像創作個展」

張哲榕的影像作品以資訊爆炸、 全球化 、消費主義至上的現實社會議題為基底,
對應甜美、 夢幻的影像畫面,使其反差產生絕妙的張力。
而此次於金鑛咖啡─一個典型商業環境中展出,也包含對於經濟全球化的諷刺;
顧客藉由消費享受品牌與其營造的舒適氛圍帶來精神歡愉、
短暫脫離現實的喧囂, 然而在製造供應商的生產線背後,
永久耗損地球的資源並不會被計算在成本當中,
最終仍必須要由消費者本身來承擔對資源浪費、
環境污染的後果。 然而消費者自知遊戲規則,卻願意處於此矛盾的情境之中,
繼續消費、滿足短暫慾望、消耗地球資源這樣的惡性循環。
在這次展覽中,展覽的不只是牆上掛著的作品,
每一位走進金鑛咖啡館消費的顧客都會是這個作品的一部分,
這也是這次展覽中最有趣的部份。

咖啡與全球化的議題近來探討熱烈,
畫面中最主要的符號「標準化的咖啡杯」,
在世界各地知名的大型連鎖咖啡店,不斷地複製、再造,
大量生產相同的商業模式,讓咖啡行銷世界。
畫面中有些咖啡杯堆疊高塔、密集,有些則稀疏、崩解,
也表現了全球化資源的分配不均。
畫面左後方為「美冠鸚鵡」,主要棲地為世界咖啡主要生產區域
--東印度群島,當地的農民可能受到大企業壓榨,
以極低的利潤不斷生產咖啡。(因而有公平貿易咖啡的誕生。)
但這過程普遍不受世界重視,因此將其安排於畫面的角落。
咖啡文化的盛行,讓很多文人雅士附庸風雅,到咖啡館享受想像中的藝文氣氛,
戴著粗框眼鏡,身旁幾本原文書,再來一杯香醇的拿鐵,
是很多人對於文藝青年的既 定印象。
我們始終無法逃離被社會分類,因此文青之後跟隨了更多假文青,
看似追逐藝文氣氛,實質內心空虛宛若空瓶,這是畫面中羊駝所扮演的角色。
女主角手持手拉咖啡的器皿,為戴著藝術家本人粗框眼鏡的羊駝先生來一杯,
舒適藝文的美好空間,香醇美味的咖啡就在眼前,
又何須在意煮出這杯咖啡需經過多少輾轉與紛擾?
Flawless Love 無瑕的愛 系列論述
虛幻往往比真實更美麗，
螢幕世代(Screen Generation)依賴著顯示器與這個世界交流，
透過它們接收資訊，再轉化成自己想像的樣貌。
於是，顯示器成為不可或缺的介質，
這片長方形承載的世界騙走了寂寞，
成為情感釋放與依賴的空間。
戀上虛擬，也渴望自己投身其中，成為某位角色。
這看似完美無瑕的愛，是否就是我們夢寐以求的情感？
對於沉溺其中的人而言，虛幻又何嘗不是真實?
愛上自己的想像，亦可能是比真實更美麗的真實。

Imaginations are much more beautiful than reality.
Screen Generation connect the world
and convert them into imaginations through the display.
Therefore, a display becomes a room to count on
and to release your emotion.
Fall in love with virtual reality, make us desire to project
ourselves into one of the characters inside.
Is this the perfect dream we have been longing for?
An illusion may be the reality to those who’s addicted in it.
Falling in love with their own imaginations
may be a much more beautiful truth than reality.
